Here's a close-up of one of about six taken in "isolated research site" last night  (October 7, 2002) while trying to catch lightning with camera. Conditions: 91% humidity, no rain, lots of cloud to ground and sheet lightning occurring.  First is enlargement only. Second is same one darkened a little to show more detail.
